Charlie Sheen Hits Back at CBS 'Hypocrites,' Rightly Says 'I'm Not Normal'

"I'm Not Normal": That's your Charlie Sheen understatement of the day, delivered when the epically erratic sitcom star hit up Pat O'Brien's Loose Cannons radio show on Friday. Sheen again lanced into his 'Two and a Half Men' overlords Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, calling them "hypocrites" who turned their backs on him.

Sheen told O'Brien that he got clean and sober "in about an hour" and did everything that was asked of him. He said that when CBS boss Les Moonves "rolled into my house they said 'change your life' and I did ... in like an hour."

He said that network bigwigs "asked for a bunch of things and I honored that, and they [CBS] have not."

After calling Lorre and 'Men' writer Lee Aronsohn "hypocrites" he commented, "It's just gross, I was in a toxic environment for eight years."

CBS announced on Thursday that they were shutting down 'Two and a Half Men' following a day of savage comments from Sheen in addition to other strange behavior on his part, including flying off to the Bahamas with two women while he was supposed to be rehabbing at home.

The actor told O'Brien that he was spending his vacation exercising and spending time with his "crew Rachael and Natty (Natalie Kenly)." He did not elaborate on who Rachael is.

When asked if he was clean and sober, Sheen said there was "no time" for drugs right now in his life.

"If you can find a drug that's gonna get me higher than I am -- and I'd hate to say high on life -- and just living in the moment and you know, finally enjoying this life, then just present that drug to me -- I just don't think it exists, I really don't."

O'Brien closed the interview by telling Sheen that all people want is for him to be the normal guy they see on TV every week.

"I'm not normal," he responded. "And that's something they've never gotten their minds around. And people are still getting used to that. But if people want me to succeed, they should find their most comfortable chair, in their frickin' house and sit in it and pop open a beer and lean back and watch the show because it's about to get really gnarly!"
