New York Post recently ran a story about famously ill-tempered actress Faye Dunaway, in which a stewardess claims the acting legend is so notoriously mean, she is routinely denied flight upgrades. The stewardess told the paper, "She was a total b***h, screaming at everyone and saying, 'Don't you know who I am?' But we refused and sat her at the front of coach, where she could see there were seats free in business and first class, which made her even more furious." She says that to get back at the 'Mommie Dearest' star, who once railed "No more wire hangers!", the crew dumped a bunch of wire hangers in the seat next to her while she was sleeping.
Unfortunately, Dunaway is not the only celeb to behave badly on an airplane. After the jump are just some of the naughty stars who think it's perfectly acceptable to pick fights with airline crew, attempt to take guns onto flights or get completely snockered before boarding.

Naomi Campbell was banned from British Airways following a vicious argument over lost baggage. Police were called onto the plane and she allegedly spat on a police officer. The sullen supermodel was cuffed and led away to the police station.
Her spokesperson said, "Naomi has been flying with British Airways for nearly thirty years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably."
It wasn't Campbell's first airport tantrum. Earlier that year she was witnessed screaming profanities at airline staff after being told she could not board a flight because she arrived eleven minutes before takeoff.
? Christian Slater was arrested at JFK airport in 1994 for trying to board a plane with an unlicensed 9mm pistol in his luggage.
? Last year, Josh Duhamel was escorted off a New York to Kentucky flight after he refused to turn off his Blackberry despite repeated requests by the flight attendant. According to other passengers, he was asked on three separate occasions to turn off his device and was "very rude" and "taunting the attendant." The plane was sent back to the runway and officer escorted the 'Transformers' star off the flight. He later admitted that the experience was "not my favorite moment."
? Jonathan Rhys-Meyers seems to have a problem boarding flights sober. In 2007, he was arrested at Dublin Airport for public intoxication. Two years later, he was barred from getting on a flight at Charles De Gaulle Airport because he was too smashed, and last year he allegedly hurled the N-word at a United Airlines employee who tried to bar the drunken 'Tudors' star from getting on a flight.
? British Airways refused to allow David Hasselhoff to board an LA-bound flight from London because he allegedly got drunk in the first class lounge. He was allowed to board a later flight after he sobered up.
? In 2003, Courtney Love became disruptive and refused to sit down or buckle her seat belt on a Virgin Airways flight and was arrested on arrival. Love claims it was a big misunderstanding. "I cussed at a lady," the singer explained. "She wasn't letting my friend into first class and I said, 'Why are you being such a bitch about it?'"
? Diana Ross was detained by British police for nearly five hours in 1999 after a female staff member at Heathrow airport complained of being assaulted by the star. She was let go without being charged.
Apparently, the Motown legend was irked when a guard tried to search her by hand after she set off a metal detector and tried in turn to "frisk" the guard herself.
"I am a huggy person, I don't mind being touched but not in this way. It was far too personal," said Ross.
? In 2009, Ivana Trump was tossed off a plane in Florida when she got into an altercation with -- are you ready for this? -- a bunch of unruly kids who were running up and down the aisle. Calling the children "little f**kers," the Czech divorcee got angry with attendants who attempted to calm her down. The plane was returned to the runway and Trump, who refused to voluntarily leave the plane, was escorted off.
? Mo'Nique was thrown off a United flight in 2006 after arguing with a flight attendant. The comedienne and Oscar-winning actress was in first class and claimed that the attendant was nasty and rude when her stylist, who was flying coach, tried to stow the star's hair dryer in a first class locker.
She told NY Daily News, "I felt like I was being treated like an animal. This happens to black people all the time and they don't have a voice. It was humiliating."
