Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have brought their six children in New Orleans for grocery shopping. Like any normal family, strolled to the local shops along the way and greeted passers-by. Family managed to spend some time together, because Brad got the day off on the set of the film “Cogan’s Trade,” which lasted for two weeks. The actor has made new hair-style for the new role and still has a beard.

Angelina Jolie has landed yesterday morning with the kids in New Orleans to spend time together with Brad. The couple tries to spend time together even while recording, and so hired a house in Hungary during the filming Angelina’s film about the war in Bosnia, and the family was seen together in Italy during the filming of “Tourist” in which Angie played with Johnny Depp.

Angelina Jolie and the Brood's Big Easy Arrival

Finally making her way to join up with her longtime partner, Angelina Jolie arrived in New Orleans with the brook on Friday afternoon (March 18).

The "Salt" star toted young Vivienne in her arms as fellow family members Zahara, Pax and Maddox shuffled out of a private jet one after the other.

The trip to the Big Easy comes as family patriarch Brad Pitt has been hard at work on a brand new movie.

The "Fight Club" stud has assumed the lead role as Jackie Cogan in the Andrew Dominik directed mob picture "Cogan's Trade" - which co-stars Sam Rockwell and Ray Liotta.

Actress Jolie visits Afghanistan: UNHCR (AFP)

KABUL (AFP) – US film star Angelina Jolie has made a surprise two-day visit to Afghanistan to meet refugees in the war-torn country, the UN's refugee agency said Wednesday.

Jolie, star of films such as "Mr & Mrs Smith" and also a UNHCR goodwill ambassador, spent two days meeting refugees, afterwards calling for more to be done to reintegrate former exiles into Afghan society.

Over 5.5 million people have returned to Afghanistan since 2002, the year after the Taliban were ousted by a US-led invasion, according to the UNHCR.

Most of them had fled to Pakistan and Iran and their return has increased the country's population by over 20 percent, it says.

There are currently some 140,000 international troops in Afghanistan fighting a Taliban-led insurgency.

"The focus needs to be put now on reintegration and that means not just putting up shelter but making sure there is water, job opportunities, a school for the children and medical clinics," Jolie said in a statement released by UNHCR at the end of the visit.

Jolie, the partner of fellow actor Brad Pitt, is noted for her humanitarian work. This was her second visit to Afghanistan, where she arrived Monday.
