Baby update: Kym Marsh and Rachel Zoe tweet about new arrivals

It’s time for a baby news update!
As we reported yesterday, Kym Marsh gave birth to a baby girl called Polly, the Coronation Street star and her partner Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas have now tweeted about their little bundle of joy. The new parents wanted to thank fans for all their messages and to reassure everyone that the seven week premature, 4lb 1oz tot is doing well.
"Our beautiful baby girl is doing so well," said Kym. "Thank you Jamie Lomas for our gorgeous girl. Very much in love with Polly, and David, Emily and Billy are ecstatic. Signing off now, v tired!…Going to sleep grateful for my beautiful children.”
While dad Jamie was keen to thank well wishers for their messages;
"I just want to say, I am overwhelmed by your kind, thoughtful, beautiful messages of support, it means so so much, thank you guys. Kym, really proud of you, go on Polly Lomas."
Over in the US celebrity stylist and over-user of the word bananas, has given birth. Rachel and her husband Rodger Berman have welcomed their first child, a boy called Skyler Morrison Berman. Zoe’s people confirmed that the baby weighed in at 6lbs and 12 oz and is 20 inches long. A statement said, “Mom and Dad 'LITERALLY' could not be happier or more in love with their son!”
While 39-year-old Rachel has since tweeted, “Thank you all so much for your love! [Rodger] and I couldn't be happier with little Skyler Morrison in our arms ... he is everything.”

Kate Winslet helped Evan Rachel Wood get naked on camera.

Kate Winslet and Evan Rachel Wood Although the 23-year-old actress was nervous about stripping off for her role in new mini-series "Mildred Pierce" at first, her seasoned co-star soon had her derobing with her words of encouragement on set.

Wood told "E! News": "She coached me through my first nude scene. I mean, she's done it all. She was literally next to the camera going [thumbs-up]."

The "True Blood" star also revealed the British actress, who plays Evan's mother in the show, even suggested she wear a pubic wig to protect her modesty.

She told Fancast.com: "I looked at Kate and she was like, 'You've got to do it. Trust me, it's so brave. Put a merkin on and you'll be fine.'"

Winslet - who has been naked in several movies including "The Reader," "Titanic," "Hamlet" and "Little Children" - was quick to realize the naked scenes were pivotal to the storyline, and she made it her priority to ensure her co-star was happy to do them.

The 35-year-old actress said: "[I was] helping her to fully acknowledge the weight of that within the story. And also just talking to her about how to find a level of confidence."

"You keep the room as empty as possible and just kind of being there for her, really, letting her know there was someone to hold her hand and throw a robe over her at the right moment. That all made her feel better."

The first episode of "Mildred Pierce" - which is comprised of five parts - is being broadcast on HBO on March 27. It is an adaptation of James M. Cain's 1941 novel of the same name.

'Glee'-Cap: Rachel Berry Drives Us To Drink

This week's "Glee" seems to have inspired a one-man party here in the MTV Newsroom. After Rachel's wild party, our own Jim Cantiello seems to have hit the sauce and, well, to quote Jamie Foxx, if you can't follow along with this song, blame it on the alcohol.

Rachel Berry's dads left her alone in a big empty house.
They're off on Rosie's gay cruise.
Her songwriting sucks, she says, "Aw shucks, I live like a church mouse;
It's time for me to drink some booze."

They play Spin the Bottle,
Rachel and Blaine kiss.
His loins start to throttle,
Does it mean he's into misses?

Kurt freaks out 'cause his buddy who's out
Now might be bi or living a lie.
Again their lips lock, now he's sober and shocked
Confirms that he's gay, no vagina any day!

Rachel Zoe Celebrates Her Baby Shower

On Saturday, Rachel Zoe celebrated the upcoming March arrival of her baby boy with a shower in her honor. The intimate affair was hosted by close friend Pamela Skaist-Levy and the stylist’s sister, Pamela Glassman.

Accompanied by husband Rodger Berman, Zoe, 39, wore a dress by The Row, paired with an Oscar de la Renta necklace. In lieu of gifts, guests were given the option of donating to Los Angeles-based charity Baby2Baby, an organization that donates infant items to families in need.
