Ashley Judd likely will make a return to the small screen in ABC's Missing, Deadline.com reports.
Formerly titled Safe and Hall of Mirrors, the series follows former CIA agent Becca Winstone (Judd) who travels to Europe to find her son after he disappears in Italy while abroad for an internship.
ABC orders drama series Missing for summer
The project was written by Greg Poirier (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) and is executive-produced by Gina Matthews and Grant Scharbo (The Gates). Steve Shill, who won an Emmy for his work on Dexter, is on board to direct.
Missing was initially slated for a summer debut, but has been pushed to a fall launch.
Judd, 42, had a role on NBC's Sisters from 1991-1994 and starred in the 1996 TV movie Norma Jean and Marilyn, for which she received an Emmy nomination.
