We spent a little time discussing Justin Bieber’s epic Grammy upset earlier today, but he wasn’t the only artist involved in an award show shocker that night. In a win that nobody saw coming, Canada-based indie band Arcade Fire walked away with the biggest prize of the night for Album of the Year.
They aren’t quite as obscure as Esperanza Spalding, but plenty of people still have no idea who they are. Hell, thanks to Barbara Streisand’s mishandling of the announcement, a lot of people still think the band’s name is The Suburbs.
If you’re one of those people, don’t let your lack of knowledge escape your careless mouth while in the vicinity of a roving pack of hipsters. If you do, the above video clearly demonstrates what will likely happen next.
