Chris Brown Smashes Window After 'GMA' Interview -- 'Everyone Was Terrified,' Says Insider

We may have spoken too soon about Chris Brown's successful recovery after completing his court-ordered domestic violence counseling.

Brown's probation officer may be less than thrilled to hear that Brown let his anger get the best of him during an appearance on 'Good Morning America.' According to TMZ, Brown stormed off set, broke the window in his dressing room and tore his shirt off after reporter Robin Roberts pressed him about his 2009 convicted assault against Rihanna.

But according to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC News is defending Roberts' questioning of the star: "As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that's what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown," an ABC News spokesperson said.

"A friend at the show tells me everyone was terrified," says PopEater's Naughty But Nice columnist Rob Shuter. "He is meant to perform on 'Dancing With the Stars,' but now ABC news employees are putting pressure on the network to cancel him due to concerns over staff safety."

Just one month ago, Rihanna's restraining order against Brown was lifted, and Brown was even commended at his hearing for his excellent anti-violence program progress. But from his behavior, it looks like Brown may have been doodling instead of listening during class.

Soon after, Brown unleashed a right hook -- this time the victim was his dressing room window. Pieces of glass from the shattered window reportedly fell to the sidewalk below. When security finally arrived, shirtless Brown had already left the building.

Publicist: Arquette 'OK' after Beverly Hills crash (AP)

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – David Arquette's Cadillac crashed head-on with another vehicle in Beverly Hills on Friday, but the actor was not seriously hurt and even joked about the collision on Twitter just a few hours later.

Arquette, 39, was "OK" after the crash, and was on his way to being treated, publicist Cindy Guagenti told The Associated Press in an e-mail.

"I got into a car accident but I'm fine. Luckily I have dragon's blood running through my veins," Arquette quipped on his Twitter account about two hours after the accident.

Arquette apparently deleted that Tweet. It did not appear on his page later Friday night, but several others referring to the crash did.

"Remember to wear your seatbelt — wish I was," he said in one.

Another read: "It was a miracle the woman I hit was uninjured — Thank God!"

Arquette said that he was headed to the airport to catch a plane to Las Vegas for a friend's restaurant opening at the time of the crash on Doheny Drive just north of Santa Monica Boulevard along the West Hollywood and Beverly Hills city limits.

Arquette and the other driver were the only two people involved, Beverly Hills police and fire officials said. There was no immediate word on what caused the collision.

Both were taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with injuries that were not considered serious.

Arquette, who has spoken publicly about his struggles with substance abuse, said last week on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that he has been sober since Dec. 30. He wrote Friday that he turned down drugs at the hospital after the crash.

"Refused all pain medication — may the record state — still sober!" he Tweeted.

Celebrity website TMZ, which first reported the accident, posted pictures that showed Arquette lying on a patch of roadside grass next to his silver Cadillac and another vehicle. Both had damage on their front bumpers and air bags deployed.

Video posted on the site showed paramedics and firefighters putting a man that appeared to be Arquette on a stretcher and lifting him into an ambulance.

Arquette and wife Courteney Cox announced that they were separating in October. The pair met when they appeared in the film "Scream" in 1996, and are co-starring in the fourth installment of the horror series due out later this year. They have a 6-year-old daughter together.

Arquette has also starred in the films "Never Been Kissed" and "3000 Miles to Graceland."

Nicholas Cage Escorted Out of Bar After Alleged Fight

Just three months after being caught on tape going ballistic outside a nightclub in Romania, Nicolas Cage was involved in an incident at a New Orleans bar and had to be escorted back to his hotel.

Police were called to upscale restaurant Stella on Chartres Street on Friday night after a window was broken, RadarOnline.com reports. Upon arrival, they determined Cage should be escorted back to his hotel for his "own safety."

"We can confirm that we did respond to an incident at that location on Friday night at around 10.45pm and that Mr. Cage needed some assistance to go back to his hotel," Officer Juan Barnes told RadarOnline.

"A window was found to be broken at the restaurant but the owners decided it was an internal matter and that they would handle it," Officer Barnes continued. "There was no formal complaint or charge written-up."

Days After Firing John Galliano, Dior Salutes Talented Workers Behind the Designs

John Galliano was, of course, absent from the Christian Dior Fall 2011 fashion show on Friday, held at the Rodin Museum in Paris.

The collection turned out to be the designer's last for the iconic French label, after his recent public anti-Semitic rant (slammed by Natalie Portman a day after she won an Oscar). Amid an international uproar, the designer was dismissed by the label this week.

But the Dior show did go on, albeit with non-traditional twists.

Instead of a Fashion Week finale which would normally feature Galliano strutting down the runway, Dior brought out the atelier's huge army of master crafters -- dozens of seamstresses and pattern makers -- who crowded the stage in their white work coats as if to point out that one famous designer hardly builds a beautiful collection by himself.

And before a model even took her first step, a much more direct acknowledgement of Dior's leadership crisis opened the show. According to the New York Times, Dior's CEO Sidney Toledano, addressing the audience in French, read solemnly from a written statement that omitted Galliano's name while condemning his behavior.

"What has happened over the last week has been a terrible and wrenching ordeal to us all. It has been deeply painful to see the Dior name associated with the disgraceful statements attributed to its designer, however brilliant he may be."

Toledano continued, "Such statements are intolerable because of our collective duty to never forget the Holocaust and its victims, and because of the respect for human dignity that is owed to each person and to all peoples. These statements have deeply shocked and saddened all at Dior who give body and soul to their work, and it is particularly painful that they came from someone so admired for his remarkable creative talent."

Galliano -- in seclusion and rumored to be in rehab -- still plans to show his namesake label on Sunday, though he's downgraded it from a "runway event" to a smaller "presentation." Still no word on whether the scandalized designer will make an appearance at that showing.

Charlie Sheen: Life After "Two and a Half Men"

Fresh off of being fired from his hit comedy, Charlie Sheen stepped out with 'goddess' Natalie Kenly in Beverly Hills, California on Monday afternoon (March 7).

Seemingly not having a care in the world, the 45-year-old actor puffed a cigarette and wrapped his arm around his lady while visiting a local office building for a business meeting.

As for being let go from "Two and a Half Men", a letter from a Warner Bros. legal staffer told Sheen's attorney that his client should "focus your energies on what no one so far has been able to do: get your client the sustained, rigorous and effective treatment he so urgently needs. It is clear that [Sheen] has no intention of agreeing to the intensive evaluation and treatment that his condition require. It is also clear he does not believe he has a problem and that he will continue to conduct himself in a destructive manner."

In response to the dismissal notice, Charlie's legal eagle, Marty Singer, told THR, "We will sue. It’s a matter of when. It could be this week, it could be in a little while. We’re in no rush. But we will sue.”

Singer continued, “Their position is absolutely ridiculous. Warner Bros. had no objection to my client pleading guilty to a felony while they were actively negotiating his new deal—they did his deal before his plea bargain!”

“From January 2010, even after my client was arrested and then charged with a felony and misdemeanor charges, Warner Bros. did not suspend my client. Instead it wanted my client to agree to commit to do additional seasons of [Men]. Warner Bros. confirmed that it would continue to employ Mr. Sheen even if he pleaded guilty to a felony as long as he did not serve jail time that would interfere with the production schedule."

Sheen's lawyer finished by stating, “This is nothing but Warner Bros. acting on behalf of Chuck Lorre."

Enjoy the pictures of Charlie Sheen out with Natalie Kenly in Beverly Hills (March 7).

'Bethenny Ever After' Is 'So Uncomfortable' Says Frankel

There are few things Bethenny Frankel won't do on camera.

Last season on 'Bethenny Getting Married?' viewers saw the former 'Housewife' manage the business side of her life all while planning her wedding and ultimately squeezing into her gown while seven months pregnant.

With baby daughter, Bryn, in tow and husband, Jason Hoppy, by her side, Frankel's balancing act continues Mondays at 10PM ET on 'Bethenny Ever After.' With enough awkward moments to make last season's drama look amateur, Frankel insists sharing her life as a new mom with thousands of viewers wasn't as easy as the first time around.

"This season is so intense and so uncomfortable and so real and so true," Frankel says of the show.

Bethenny teamed up with Hanes to talk about how she stays organized and to sound off on the new season of 'Bethenny Ever After' behind the jump!

Lindsay Lohan denied entry to Oscars after party

It’s a celeb’s worst nightmare. To turn up at the flashest bash in town, only to get turned away by a couple of beefy bouncers. It's happened to the best of them.. Alex Reid, Jack Tweed and not forgetting the time the Loose Women got turned away from Mahiki in place of Jack Tweed (LOLZ). Well now it's happened to poor old Lindsay Lohan as she attempted to get into a super posh Oscars after party.

A fellow party goer tried to help Lindsay out by asking the doormen 'Don't you know who this is?' To which they replied they knew who she was (we bet bouncers like Mean Girls and know all the words to Jingle Bell Rock) but that they weren’t letting her in (guess they didn’t like it as much as we thought…) leaving La Lohan out in the street, reportedly saying: 'This is so humiliating.' We bet it was, but probably not as bad as the Labour Pains opening night... Jus' sayin.

The party was being thrown by talent agent Gus Oseary who works for the company that represent not only Lindsay herself but also Madonna and Demi Moore.

But hang on, Lilo is best mates with Britney who defo snogged Madonna once – surely that’s a trump card to play? Alas, Linds was sent packing, showing her star in Hollywood is most definitely not as bright as it used to be.

Maybe they were frightened the sticky fingered star might nick all the canapés.

Frankie Muniz and Girlfriend Still Together After Gun Incident

Frankie Muniz and Girlfriend Still Together After Gun Incident | Frankie Muniz Frankie Muniz and Elycia Turnbow

Michael Buckner/Getty

For a while, it looked like TV's Malcolm was in the middle of one big mess.

Last week, police investigated a disturbance at the Phoenix home of Frankie Muniz and his publicist girlfriend Elycia Turnbow. When it was all over the actor had handed over a gun to officers.

Muniz’s rep Lauren Tobin tells PEOPLE the duo now "are fine" and "as far as they are concerned, their issues are resolved."

The Malcolm in the Middle star, 25, and Turnbow, are "still very much a couple," Tobin says. "Neither one is interested in finger-pointing at the other. It was a situation that escalated beyond a point that it needed to be. If anything, they will look back at this as a learning opportunity."

Tobin also clarified reports that Muniz held a gun to his head during the argument with Turnbow.

"He was not suicidal," Tobin says, noting that Muniz’s gun was "voluntarily handed over" to authorities for safekeeping. Neither person was arrested and no charges were made.

Since Malcom ended in 2006, Muniz took a step back from Hollywood and concentrated his race car driving.

He then moved to Phoenix and joined the independent band You Hang Up early last year. Since the Feb. 11 incident, Muniz has resumed performing with the four-person rock group for which he's the drummer.

"He gets along great with the other guys," the band's manager, Todd Erickson says. "They’re friends in addition to being in a band together. They’re all a really good group of people."

Erickson describes the post-TV Muniz as "hard-working and multitalented" with "opportunities in a lot of different directions. I have nothing but good things to say about him."

Elizabeth Hurley Feeling 'Sick' After Boyfriend's Latest Cheating Scandal

Feb 15th 2011 10:40AMEmail ThisIt seems that Elizabeth Hurley did not have such a wonderful Valentine's Day. The 45-year-old English actress has been in Melbourne, Australia, for the last week, holed up in the mansion of her current boyfriend, Aussie ex-cricketer Shane Warne.

Chloe Conrad, a 26-year-old porn star, just revealed explicit text messages that she claims Warne sent her AFTER he and Hurley began dating and also described her night of passion with the sportsman to an English tabloid. She claims their romp was so energetic it left her with, err, some chafing.
Hurley alluded to the new wrinkle in her relationship with Warne in a delightfully blunt Twitter message on Monday. "Happy Valentine's Day! Remember, love is like a roller-coaster ride -- sometimes it's exhilarating but sometimes u feel sick and want to get off."

Since that tweet, Hurley's Twitter account appears to have been disabled or at least suspended.

It's not the first time saucy text-messages have come between the new couple. They briefly parted in December when Warne admitted to sending more than 100 brazen texts to an Australian businesswoman. He apologized over Twitter, writing, "We are all childish, immature at times. It's about how you bounce back when things are tough."

The couple were forced to go public back in December when the still-married Hurley was spotted trysting with Warne at London hotels.

Hurley's trip down under has been anything but ordinary. She has been mainly confined to Warne's home which has been turned into a bunker with huge screens erected to thwart the paparazzi. The duo have ventured out to a wedding, where Hurley committed the social faux pas of wearing white, and lunch at a golf course, which required a police escort because of the crush of photographers.

Warne, who clearly adores Twitter as much as his paramour, did ask his followers where he should take Hurley for lunch. "Where is the sexiest place to take Elizabeth to lunch? Suggestions please? And no spaghetti on toast!!!"

The 'Austin Powers' star, whose high-profile 1990's relationship with Hugh Grant first propelled her to fame, is mom to an 8-year-old son, Damian, with her ex, millionaire Stephen Bing. She married Indian-German textile heir Arun Nayar in 2007.

CBS' Lara Logan Hospitalized After 'Brutal' Sexual Assault in Egypt

CBS reporter Lara Logan was surrounded, beaten and sexually assaulted after being separated from her team in the midst of Egyptian protests last Friday.

CBS News released a statement that on Feb. 11, shortly after Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down from power, "chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a '60 Minutes' story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy. In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers."

Logan was able to rejoin her team and return to the U.S. She was recovering in a hospital on Feb. 15.

Esquire landed an interview with Logan just last week, on her way back to Cairo after being kicked out of the country the week before. "This is the Tiananmen Square of the cyber age," she said. "There's no question."

Reporter Foster Kamer incredulously asked Logan if CBS was "insured for this s***" and if she was crazy to go back to the thick of the protests. "You know," Logan answered, smiling, "I don't worry about things like that."

Game Titles Purp & Patron Mixtape After His 'Favorite Pastimes'

Mixtape Daily Main Pick

Street King: Game

Holding It Down For: Compton

Mixtape: Purp & Patron, hosted by DJ Skee and Funkmaster Flex

Real Spit: Nobody would mistake Game for a role model. The Compton, California, rapper has had run-ins with the law and beef with fellow MCs 50 Cent and Joe Budden among others. So when he christened his recently released monster of a double-mixtape (and a third disc that dropped shortly after, subtitled The Hangover) he named the set after some of bad habits.

"You know mixtape titles, album titles, rapper names, it always has to be something that's catchy," he told Mixtape Daily. "So I went through my life and tried to put two things together that I like doing, two of my favorite pastimes, and it was purp [marijuana] and Patron [tequila]. Kids, don't try either at home."

Joints to Check For

» "Taylor Made" (featuring Wiz Khalifa): "It's one of my favorites, featuring the new kid on the block," Game said about the menacing Che Vicious-produced track. "He reps Taylor Gang, and I'm notoriously known as Chuck Taylor. Not to be confused or misconstrued with the shoe. There it is."

» "The Kill": "It was supposed to be for The Red Album, but then it got leaked, so we threw it on the mixtape," Game said about the Cool & Dre lift of Le Roux's "In for the Kill," which has also been touched by rappers like the L.E.P. Bogus Boys, STS, Donnis and Jim Jones, among others. "Everybody loves it. It's conscious. Even Nas called me, like, 'Yo.' And Nas don't hit me about no bull. He said it was crazy."

Christina Aguilera Trips Onstage After Aretha Franklin Grammy Tribute

LOS ANGELES — Christina Aguilera can't seem to catch a break, but at least she was able to catch herself.

Exactly one week after her much-talked-about struggle with the national anthem at the Super Bowl, the powerhouse pop singer slipped and nearly fell off the stage at the conclusion of the Grammy tribute to Aretha Franklin.

As the crowd leapt to a standing ovation and roared their approval of her unsurprisingly standout participation in the performance, Christina slipped and very nearly fell from the stage but caught her balance without smashing to the floor or causing any serious damage (save for some natural embarrassment).

Everything went smoothly for Aguilera at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles just before that, as she joined Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Florence Welch and Yolanda Adams for the show's opening performance, which consisted of a medley of Aretha Franklin's hits. Xtina kicked out the jams in typically bombastic fashion when she took center stage to tackle Aretha's "Ain't No Way." The 68-year-old Queen of Soul has battled against much more serious troubles than her 30-year-old platinum-blond disciple, reportedly undergoing surgery for pancreatic cancer last year.

The ensemble had just wrapped up "Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves" when Aguilera lost her balance as they took a bow. Luckily, she was able to right herself by grabbing hold of a microphone stand.

Christina's first performance since botching the words to the national anthem could have been viewed as a form of pop-culture redemption. But, thanks to this slipup, the Net is once again abuzz about her for all of the wrong reasons, with some even criticizing her take on Aretha's classics, which was full of her signature melisma — the packing of multiple notes into a single syllable — much as her version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" was.

What did you think of the Aretha tribute? Let us know in the comments!
