Following her appearance on Dancing with the Stars in the US, Audrina Patridge is going back to what she does best – appearing in reality TV shows. Her new show, Audrina, is set to premiere in the US in April on VH1.
She first caught our attention in MTV reality show The Hills (you know the one with Lauren, Heidi and that prat called Spencer!). Although now she is making a slight shift, moving from the Hollywood Hills and returning to her home of Orange County, California. Joining Audrina this time round will be her mum Lynn, dad Mark and her three siblings.
Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Production (what a title!), Jeff Olde at VH1, said in a statement: “We love that Audrina's life plays out simultaneously on two levels. On one level, she is working hard to establish herself in the entertainment industry. But at the same time she has this amazingly real, supportive family in Orange County who keeps her grounded.” He added, “Ultimately, this is the story of a young woman with dreams, goals and ambitions all put through the no-BS filter of her family.”
In an advert for the new show Audrina tells us, "Somewhere between fame and family there is a place for me." Oooooh… this is so exciting! We can’t wait for more trashy reality TV to get hooked to! Yes, we know we shouldn’t watch them, but we just can’t help ourselves!
