David Arquette admits he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when he crashed…

Wow, there’s a man who has a few regrets. Courteney Cox’s ex took to Twitter yesterday afternoon to tell the world, “Remember to wear your seatbelt-wish I was,” after crashing his car head-on into another vehicle.

The incident happened on Friday afternoon in Beverly Hills – and according to reports, David’s car unexpectedly headed straight out of the correct lane and into oncoming traffic. He’s said to have ploughed straight into a Jeep, leaving both vehicles were severely damaged! Eek!

Thankfully no one was seriously hurt and David’s spokesman commented, “He is fine and heading to hospital for treatment.” While on-scene police confirmed the other driver “suffered minor to moderate injuries.”

Jeez, what was going on there, eh? Obviously the question of whether or not he was boozed up will cross all our minds, but thanks to the good old medium of Twitter, David went on to say he was totally sober.

"I got into a car accident but I'm fine," he tweeted. "It was a miracle the woman I hit was uninjured- Thank God! so sad i'm going to miss [Vegas] but glad to be alive for a rain check. Refused all pain medication-may the record state- still sober!"

Vegas? Who cares about Vegas, David? At least he acknowledged he’s grateful to still be here with us! And crikey, that’s quite a Friday afternoon.

Police have said their investigations are still ongoing and we’ll update you as soon as we have more news. For not though, let’s just all be thankful everyone was okay!
