Signing autographs along the way, Ian Somerhalder was spotted arriving at the Mandarin Hotel in NYC on Monday afternoon (March 7).
The hunky actor looked to be in quite the pleasant mood, as he's in the Big Apple as a Cosmopolitan Fun & Fearless Male honoree.
Aside from his NYC doings, the "Vampire Diaries" star has created the Ian Somerhalder foundation (ISF) to help people get involved with environmentalism.
At the present time, Ian's foundation is campaigning fearlessly for reform In British Columbia after the recent discovery that 100 sled dogs were killed there due to a slump in tourism.
“These animals were brutally murdered and the individuals responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Period,” Somerhalder stated. “Government officials need to do everything in their power to make sure this sort of tragedy never happens again.”
