We suspect it would be a bit annoying is you sold millions of hit records across six whole decades, only for a 17 year old X Factor contestant to mooch on to the scene and hijack your name. Cher knows what we are talking about. Before X Factor there was indisputably only one Cher worth talking about and then BOOM along came Cher Lloyd with all her annoying swag and Jay Z record deals etc.
Well today Cher (real Cher, not Lloyd) took to Twitter to vent her frustrations, tweeting a question we have pondered over for a good while: ‘Who or What is Cher Lloyd?’ to which Cher Lloyd fans suddenly inexplicably came into existence, offended by real Cher’s X Factor ignorance. Cue real Cher getting all sorts of bratty comments directed her way including: ‘There is only one amazing Cher and that’s CHER LLOYD(sic). ’
Real Cher was understandably shocked by the reaction and speedily tweeted back: ‘Ok, got Cher Lloyd, I guess I live in a cave. No Disrespect meant’ Disrespect? She seems to have got the hang of the Lloyd lingo pretty quick… BRAP.
